MEET THE FOUNDER
CORRINE JACKSON
"Hi, I’m Corrine founder of Nail It.
My nail journey began back in 2003, when I was just 17 years old and completed a fast-track nail course. Not long after, I fell pregnant in 2004, but that never stopped me from practising, learning, and pushing forward.
I started my nail career working in a small local sunbed and nail shop. Some days, only one client would walk through the door but I knew that consistency and passion would be the key to growing. From there, I began building my client base, working from both salons and my kitchen table.
After a lot of hard work, dedication, and a few moments of self-doubt, I took a big step and opened my first salon, Vanity. That chapter taught me so much about business, people, and believing in myself..
As my confidence grew, so did my vision. I knew I wanted to create something bigger than a traditional salon a space that supported, inspired, and educated others..
That vision eventually led to Nail It and the creation of Nail It Academy. After relocating, revamping, and pouring my heart into the space, I’m now so proud to be running the academy from a salon that holds a very special place in my heart."
